The European football governing body has punished the country's governing body after their supporters were involved with clashes against police during the tournament.
Russian fans were involved in crowd disturbances during the game, as well as setting off fireworks and displaying illicit banners.
"The Uefa Control and Disciplinary Body today decided to impose a deduction of six points on the RFS for the qualifying competition of the next Uefa European Football Championship," a statement on the Uefa website reads.

Uefa has decided to fine the Russian football association (RFS) €120,000 and handed the body a suspended deduction of six points for the Euro 2016 qualifiers following the incidents during Russia's 4-1 win over Czech Republic on June 8.

The second round of the group stage match on the 10th of June will be Republic of Ireland facing Croatia. Both the teams know each other well and have decent record of six games played against each other. Ireland would want a full three-pointer out of this one otherwise there would be a very tough rod to the knockout stage; beat Italy and Spain both.
The Irish are the ones who will be responsible for the conclusion f the three teams of the group. The team that doesn’t win over Ireland will fail to see the knock-out round. And this something Croatia is well aware of; they know how tough it is to break the Irish.
The Croatian will have to keep up the pace as they would need a strong defense and a very strong attacking to overcome the Irish. A single goal from Ireland would lead the match to unpredictable terms as scoring twice is next to impossible for such a side. However the leading attacker Eduardo da Silva is someone Croatia will be looking forward for inspiration as he is the player that seems to take no pressure and scores even in big games like these.

Spain and Italy are going into one of the most anticipated match of the European Championship on June 10th. This will be tough for both the teams as the last two World cup Champions are themselves, Spain and Italy.
With Croatia and Ireland on high stakes on the other side it will be very tricky for the teams to get out of the group-stage and into the knockout stages.
However Italy was in prime form till 2006 until aging of the experienced players and a bad selection from the former manager caused the team to decline. Nevertheless all his efforts in order to defend the title were a great hindrance for the young players to show how it’s done.
Meanwhile Spain has some of the World’s best players to form the ultimate soccer team. Their core players from Barcelona and Real Madrid have played an enormous number of games which could make a fatigue problem for the going squad.
Matches like these require a lot of effort from both the sides and playing safe won’t help any of them. But as the prediction goes; the Italians won’t let the Spaniards get out of their sight and they might even take all the chances to do that. 9th of June will be the mighty day when the Germans will face the Portuguese which will surely be a flaming game. The match will be at Lviv where Potugal will be avenging the loss taken byTurkey 1-3 last week and Germany will be in full form after the recent end of a perfect season.
No doubt that this group is the toughest group of all but the Germans form a young enthusiastic team that would consider taking up anything on a sunny day but when you consider the straight wins from all the qualifier games. Germany’s football team has no doubt the strongest midfield in the world which is led by Mezut Ozil and sided by Thomas Muller and Bastian Schweinsteiger. However Ozil and Khedira have spent time together at Real Madrid which will definitely prove vital to the team. And you can’t forget Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose who could score whenever, unexpectedly.
On the other hand is Portugal which can never forget the losing to Greece in 2004. However this is the time when the greatest threat to the opponent team comes from Cristiano Ronaldo. Wherever the Germans leave holes in the field, Ronaldo is sure to take advantage especially near the box. The coach is expecting to Ronaldo, Meirieles and Deco to take down the opponents. However, without the ball, the Portuguese have less hope and only defending would do in those spells but manager Bento will certainly take care of that.
