Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in NEPAL

Indian national cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni arrived here in the Capital via Air India flight at 9.30 Saturday morning.

Dhoni is here for a two-day visit on the invitation of the Indian Embassy.

Upon his arrival, Dhoni expressed his belief that his two-day visit would be fruitful.

"Cricket is famous in South Asian countries, i want to see Nepal a famous cricket team in the future," Dhoni said.

He will spend 3-4 hours at cricket stadium at Kirtipur where he will be passing on tips and sharing his thoughts with Nepali cricketers.

"Being a cricket player, i want to contribute for the Nepali team," Dhoni added.



Later in the evening, he will deliver a lecture at Hotel Yak and Yeti where he will talk about the various aspect of cricket and will meet his avid Nepali fans.

On June 16, he will visit the Pashupati Nath temple. Then he will be visiting the Indian Embassy before flying out to New Delhi on a 3pm flight.
