The ICC Development Committee has approved that Samoa would host Pepsi ICC Division 8 2012, to be held from Saturday September 15 – Saturday September 22, 2012.  Participating teams had already  reported to Samoa on September 13. anatasports.com is bringing you the schedule and fixture of ICC world Cricket league Division VIII 2012. Teams taking part in the Division 5 are decided by two teams that had relegated from the Division VII and they are Norway(Vth) and  Japan (VIth). Other team was the team that remains third in last edition of Division Eight Vanuatu. Other Teams are the Regional qualifiers  who topped the regional qualifiers and they are Samoa(East Asia) Bhutan(asia) Ghana(africa) Suriname(america) and Belgium(Europe).

Nepal National women's team have been grouped with Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan in group B of 2nd SAFF Womens Championship scheduled on September 7-17 in Colombo.
The tournament will be held from September 7 to 16 at CR and FC grounds, Colombo with the participation of eight countries.
They will play round robin in the first round and the semi finals will be held on September 14 followed by the final on September 16. 


India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and hosts, Sri Lanka has been drawn in Group A while Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan play in Group B.
The participating teams will arrive in Sri Lanka on September fourth. There will be two matches played each day.
India will play against Bangladesh at 9am on September 7 in the opening match and Sri Lanka will meet Bhutan at 3.30 pm on the same day.

AFC U-14 football festival to begin from tomorrow in Dashrath Stadium and after Inaguration ceremony  Nepal U-14 National team A will take on Sri Lanka A in the opening match of AFC U-14 youth football festival starting from 19th of May in Dashrath Stadium Kathmandu. All Nepal football association (ANFA) has informed that AFC U-14 football festival official inauguration will be held on Jestha 6 at Dasrath Stadium. ANFA added that they had prepared everything for up-coming AFC Youth U-14 football festival starting from 19th of May at Dasrath Stadium.


Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and  Sri Lanka are participating in the festival.

The football festival will be played in two formats; 30 minutes and 60 minutes. All the players in the team must play in the field. The players of the team also need to appear in the skills test.

ANFA will encamp all the visitors at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.

Speaking in the program, AFC U-14 football festival project manager, John Whittle thanked ANFA for organizing developmental programs for the game.

"Though we (AFC) have funded the festival, it's ANFA who is doing everything. My sincere thanks to ANFA for hosting this event in Nepal", Whittle told reporters.

AFC VP and ANFA President, Ganesh Thapa said that the FA was proud to host the festival in Nepal.
